Stamps for Charity

Many charities raise money by selling used stamps to dealers as kiloware. With your help, I would like to keep a list of charities collecting stamps, around the world.

UK

• Kicks Count - a pregnancy charity. They accept stamps, and they may be able to send plastics for recycling Link
• Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB)

Many others collect stamps. Some are listed in the directories below, but in time, I hope to bring you the charity's own webpage link.

Canada

• Oxfam Canada (incidentally, although Oxfam is also in the US, I can't find mention of them wanting stamps).

USA

• American Philatelic Society - uses stamps for educational purposes
• The Postal History Foundation - uses stamps for educational purposes
• The Sisters of the Holy Cross - to support the Sisters of the Holy Cross Ministry With the Poor Fund.
• Stamps for the Wounded - is a service organization dedicated to providing comfort and stimulating activity to U.S. veterans through stamp collecting.

Australia

• GiveNow is a directory of some charities/organisations accepting stamps (they also have options of giving other items). 

Ireland

• ISPCC (Irish Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Children)
• IPCC (Irish Peatland Conservation Society)

Finland

• Finnish Evangelical Lutheran Mission (Suomen Lähetysseura) in Finnish
