Once, my friend Dean sent me sand from Omaha Beach in Normandy, France, in a plastic bag. He never puts a return address so the mail he sends just moves along. Well, this little bag of sand arrived in my mail box without a stamp. It had fallen off somewhere along the way, but the mail carried on without it.
